MISERY SIGNALS Drummer Schedules Alberta Clinic
April 9, 2008Drummer Branden Morgan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin's metalcore act MISERY SIGNALS will hold a drum clinic on May 1 at Mother's Music in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Times are yet to be announced but it will be sometime before the band's show in the city.
MISERY SIGNALS entered the studio at the end of January with producer Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARKEST HOUR, SOILWORK) to begin recording the band's as-yet-untitled third full-length album, due later in the year via Ferret Music.
The upcoming MISERY SIGNALS album will be the band's second to feature vocalist Karl Shubach. "I feel like it's my band now it's not MISERY SIGNALS plus Karl and I'm much more comfortable being part of what we represent," he explained. "I also feel like music is more of my own, and I'm psyched about the new record; it's got a lot of elements that weren't in last one, a lot of parts that are just heavier with a lot of off-time polyrhythm like MESHUGGAH."
